The power consumption of a room heater depends on the heat produced. If a heater produces a large amount of heat then it would consume a large amount of electricity as well.
For example, a 3000W heater produces more heat than a 2000W heater as a result, it consumes lesser electricity than the 3000W.
Always prefer to buy a heater with variable heat setting. It will help to adjust the power consumption and the heat produced.
